- Prepare written work cost estimates for clients
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:

HVAC Sheetmetal Fabricator (Shop Position)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator for our Sheet Metal Shop.
Position entails fabricating sheet metal ductwork for HVAC systems. The candidate should have experience in operating a plasma cutter and associated software, cutting, and bending.
DUTIES:
- Fabricate ductwork including elbows, transition fittings, etc.
- Operate Shop equipment including brakes, bending machines and shears.
- Keep accurate records of inventory used and maintain proper levels of inventory on hand.
- Communicate with Hottel field personnel when orders are complete.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years experience (required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Strong communication skills

HVAC Mechanical Superintendent
REPORTS TO:
Operations and Project Manager
The HVAC Mechanical Superintendent will be responsible for leading multiple teams of HVAC mechanics, foremen, apprentices, and helpers in the demolition, retrofit or installation of Heating, Cooling and Ventilation systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, excellent leadership, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage the projects that they are assigned, to completion, on time and within budget. It will require overseeing multiple jobs at times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working alongside field technicians to ensure timely and quality completion.
- Lead multiple teams of HVAC mechanics, apprentices, and helpers in the demolition, retrofit, and installation of HVAC systems.
- Initial hand-off and site survey of ALL jobs.
- Help manage projects from start to finish, including estimating ongoing job costs, assist PM with daily oversight, sending material orders over to procurement, and overseeing the work of the installation teams to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee the start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting and diagnosing of HVAC systems that were installed and ensure that warranty repairs are done when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the installation of HVAC systems.
- Communication with GC, owner, and subs to efficiently complete all phases of the job.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior HVAC mechanics, apprentices, & helpers, and ensure all team members are working together efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment and materials, as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CFC Universal.
- 4-year HVACR apprenticeship Journeyman from accredited HVAC trade school.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including air conditioning units, furnaces, ventilation systems, and ductwork.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex HVAC system problems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
- Proficient with HVAC software and tools.
- Ability to provide on-site and remote training.
- Identify training needs for equipment on specialty projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to HVAC system installation and maintenance.
- Flexible schedule to include nights and weeks as needed.
- Valid driver's license.
- Drug screen and background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials, up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our commercial service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, and split systems between others. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance, and repair of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, split systems, etc.
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities, including parts used and time spent on jobs.
- Assist junior technicians with technical support, offering advice and troubleshooting assistance when on call and as needed.
- Communicate with customers to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Participate in the on-call rotation schedule to address urgent service needs.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC preferred.
- 10-15 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.

- Master’s License in HVAC, or willingness to pursue one.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, with the willingness to work evenings and weekends if needed.
