Recent Project in Washington D.C.
HVAC Description: Hottel’s Engineering Department spearheaded the design for this renovation project, which encompassed a comprehensive array of installations including a Carrier air-cooled chiller, Carrier AHU’s, VRF FCU 1 through 60, VRF ODU 1 through 8 condensers, VRF 1 through 52 Flow selector boxes, electric wall heaters, Greenheck Exhaust fans, Aerco condensing boiler, B&G hot water pumps, air separators, expansion tanks, chilled water buffer tank, VFDs for hot water pumps, (2) chemical feeders, glycol make-up unit, and a kitchen hood installation. Our team demonstrated exemplary dedication and skill, surpassing all client expectations with the successful completion of every aspect of the renovation.
Plumbing Description: The successful completion of this project was a collaborative effort between the Mechanical and Plumbing teams. While the Mechanical team took the lead, plumbing provided crucial assistance to ensure its smooth execution. The plumbing aspect of the renovation encompassed the installation of various fixtures including WM water closets, floor-mount water closets, floor-mount handicap water closet, under-counter lavatories, wall-mount lavatories, handicap wall-mount lavatory, wall-mount urinals, showers, handicap shower, wall-mount electric water cooler, sacristy sink, mop sink, and piscina. This collaborative effort ensured that all plumbing requirements were met with precision and efficiency, contributing to the overall success of the project.
